Cookies

Shopmorphic and every shop that runs on it set only the cookies needed to make the pages work. None of them tracks you across sites, none is used for advertising, and nothing from another company is loaded. That is why there is no cookie banner: the law only asks for consent for cookies that are not strictly necessary, and we have none.

On shopmorphic.com and the seller portal

• session - keeps you signed in to the portal or the staff area and protects forms from being submitted by another site. Two weeks, or until you sign out.

On a shop

• sm_cart - what is in your basket. Cleared when the order is paid.
• sm_buyer - after you open a My orders link, remembers that this browser has proved your email address, so you can see your orders and spend reward points. Thirty days, or until you sign out.
• sm_ref, sm_discount - set only when you arrive through a referral or discount link, so the code still applies at checkout. Up to thirty days.
• sm_utm_source, sm_utm_medium, sm_utm_campaign - set only when you arrive through a link the shop tagged, so the shop can see which of its own campaigns brought the sale. Thirty days. Nothing is sent to an advertising company.
• session - protects the checkout and contact forms. Ends when you close the browser.

You can delete any of these from your browser at any time. The shop will still work; you may need to fill your basket again.
